RALPH Chester WAGNER

ALPH Chester WAGNER was born July 18, 1909, his parents were Wyley D. Wagner& Callie (Carolina) Egger Wagner of Wimberley,Hays county, Texas. Ralph married July 19,1940, widow, Vida Sparks Buckner and she had two children John William "Billy" Buckner & Robert "Bobby" Parker Buckner from her 1st marriage to Wm. Ken Buckner, deceased. Ralph & Vida had 3 children together: Eunice CAROLYN Wagner Lorenz, Mildred SUE Wagner Meyer, and James CHESTER Wagner. Ralph was an automotive mechanic and had a gas station/mechanic's shop on the square in Wimberley, Texas for many years. He was known as the fastest man in Hays county as he won the foot races at the Hays County Fair several years. He also liked to drive FAST...and won car races from Wimberley to San Marcos, Texas in 12 minutes...and the roads back then were not as good as they are now! After Vida passed away at home due to breast cancer on July 5, 1961, Ralph remarried Lucy Garnett of Wimberley, Texas. Submitted by son Chester Wagner
