MY DAD,MY HERO

Foot ,180 pounds, medium red hair. Goes by the nickname of "RED". Well liked by all. Had a command presence, displayed amazing courage and fortitude. A suvivor of the japanese sneak attack on Pearl Harbor. During the attack he led a squad into the hills above the harbor with weapons to shoot at the Japanese airplanes as they dove on the harbor, after the attack he was sent to the South Pacific flying on B-17's attacking the Japanese where ever they were found.March of 1943 was shipped back to CONUS to retrain on B-24's. Survived a training accident crash and was declared medically exempt from front line service. He spent the remaining years training Air crews to fight against the Japanese. Discharged in March of 1945. He returned home to Texas where in 1946 he became a FATHER. I was born in Yoakum,Texas July 26,1946. A BABY BOOMER!!!!!
