loyd C. "Bill" Clemmons was born May 17, 1937 to Louie M. and Algie Hill Clemmons, Lauderdale County, Alabama. Lloyd married Mary Young Clemmons March 4, 1960. Their children are: Jennifer Clemmons Hardy, born April 7, 1962; Michael Alan Clemmons, born July 29, 1964, and Beth Clemmons Guthrie, born April 10, 1967. Lloyd attended elementary school at the old Wilson School, Zip City, Alabama 1943 - 1949; Jr. High and High School at Rogers High School, Greenhill, Alabama 1950 - 1955. He worked at King Stove & Range Company, Sheffield, Alabama 1955 - 1957 then did construction work for various companies, which included construction of the Ford Motor Company Die Casting Plant, Sheffield,
