William Otto Williams, Jr.

y father was stationed at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor December 7, 1940. He was only 17 years old and spent his entire enlistment in the Pacific Theater. He was wounded during the war and received a Purple Heart. After the war, he reenlisted in the Army Air Corps (later to become the Air Force) and spent a total of 30 years in the military.
