Willard Ned Haney was born May 10, 1918 in Canton, N.C. to William Richard Haney and Hester (Christianson) Haney. He passed away April 6, 2003 at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains at the age of 84 years.

He was united in marriage to Patricia Maxine Knight on January 3, 1947 in Clayton, Ga. Willard is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patricia, daughter
Veda Jo and four grandsons.

He is survived by three sons, Willard C Haney of Clyde, N.C., Charles W. Haney of Ashville, N.C., and Sandy C. Haney of Sharpsburg, Ga.; four daughters, Sue Nuttall of Glen Burnie, MD, Doris Harris of Mountain View, Mo.,JoAnn Henson of Waynesville, N.C., and Kelliene McGinnis of Springfield, Mo.; 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great great grand children.

Willard served in the U.S. Navy during W.W.II.
