harles Joseph Smith Charles Joseph Smith '42 (b. date unknown, Nutley, NJ-d. December 23, 1944, Belgium) Entered Rutgers, University College, Newark, attendance unknown Entered Service U.S. Army Air Corps, commissioned 1st Lt. Charles went overseas in July 1944 and was killed in action over Belgium. He was awarded the Air Medal posthumously.
