eorge Eldridge Davis was born on November 5, 1925, in Garrison, Texas to Easter and Dettie Chandler Davis. George passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at Nacogdoches Medical Center Hospital. George attended Garrison Highschool in Garrison Texas. He entered the Navy in 1943, trained in San Diego, Oceanside, California. He served in Guam and Saipan. He worked as a roughneck in the oil fields, was a Mason, and a member of the Nacogdoches Veterans of Foreign Wars. He Married Gloria Faulkner on December 21, 1946. The had three sons together: Gregory, Roger, and Bobby. George passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at Nacogdoches Texas.
