found my father in the 1930 census, and was surprised at where he was. Also one of his half brothers was there with him, and they were living in the household of a cousin. No one in the family had any idea where my dad was in 1930, nor had any idea that the half brother had ever been in the area of the 1930 census, which was Stockton, AL. I was thrilled, to say the least, at finding both, my dad, and my uncle living in the same house. My uncle, my dad's half brother, was only 3 years old. And my dad was 31, almost 32 at the time.
