About Wolfhawker
I was born in South Texas to a Farmer/Rancher and his Schoolmarm wife. I was raised in the country so I understand a days work. I was expected to become more than my Father, who was a very successful man. I entered the Computer Technologies field and have acquired 20 yrs of experience. I am 25% English and have lots of Scot blood flowing thru my veins, as well. To start off with, "Hawk" is a nickname that I have had most of my adult life. It has become so much a part of me that I usually forget to answer to any other names. I am a fifth-generation Texian (this is what persons from Texas were originally called until 1900) and I am proud of it. I was born in a little town in South Texas called Pearsall. Pearsall is the hometown of George Strait; our families have had numerous connections with each others through all my life. I was raised up in the country on a Farm/Ranch that my Dad owned. I presently live back in Pearsall. I completed my advanced education backward by completing my B.S. first, THEN completing my A.A.S. second. I have an A.A.S. in Computer Maintenance Technology from Texas State Technical Institute in Waco Tx and a B.S. (Major: Range Science, Minor: Computer Science) from Sul Ross State University in Alpine Tx. I have had experience in a multitude of fields within the last 20 years that I have been in the Computer Industry. I have completed (Sept '09) a Master’s Degree in Information Services to allow my experience to be enhanced by a degree better representing my desire to pursue higher things. This degree will also allow me to truly grow beyond my past educational boundaries.
