From 1983 to 1987 Brooke put her career on hold so that she could attend Princeton University in New Jersey. There she studied French Literature. She said in a People Magazine interview, "Three [students] got A's, and I was one of them. They post grades at Princeton, so everyone saw it, and it gave me credibility". She graduated with honors and a BA Degree in 1987.

Brooke had a close friendship with Michael Jackson that began in their teenage years and was distressed over his recent death. After her graduation she appeared in quite a few more movies but the most popular ones remain those she accomplished as a young girl. She was in several Broadway shows and she has written books. She has lived a very busy life and as much as I can tell from my brief research it remains that way.

She seriously dated and married tennis star Andre Aggassi and was devastated over their divorce. She then married Chris Henchy in 2001 on Catalina Island off of the coast of Southern California. She had trouble with pregnancy but she now has 2 daughters, Rowan and Grier.

Brooke Shields has had success on TV with parts on the series "Friends" and then her own sitcom "Suddenly Susan". Brooke Shields is considered in many circles to be one of the most beautiful women in our time, and she continues to be a force in the media.
