allas Frederick Pease was born in Mahoning County, Ohio on April 8, 1843 to Henry and Margaret (Eicholtz) Pease. With his brother, Eli James, he enlisted in Co A, 76th PA Infantry at New Castle, PA on August 28, 1861. Entered service on October 1, 1861. Discharged on a surgeons certificate on May 9, 1863. Died in Trumbull County, Ohio January 18, 1864. He is buried in the Old Springfield Cemetery in Springfield Twp, Mahoning Co, Ohio.
