oleman Clayton 1757–1839, BIRTH ABT 1757 • Granville County, North Carolina DEATH 1 SEP 1839 • Roxboro, Person, North Carolina. Marriage to "Fannie" on 14 Oct 1793. On 19 Sep 1832, Coleman made a Declaration for Pension, North Carolina Militia in the American Revolutionary War of 1775 - 1783. In the year 1780, this declarant took the place of one Richard Coleman his uncle who has been drafted for a term of three months in the militia of North Carolina and marched from Caswell County when his uncle had been drafted under the following company officer viz. John Douglas Capt, Thomas Neilley Lient, etc.
