Edward W. borowski, Sr. died at his residence in Longwood, Florida on September 4, 2007 at age 86. He was born September 1, 1921 in Dudley, Massachusetts to Bertha Szewczyk and William Borowski, and then served in the Army Air Corp during WW II landing on Normandy Beach and fought in the battle of the Bulge at Luxemburg. He then served through a full retirement in the Air Force as a mechanic and recruiter. He later retired from the United States Postal Service.

Edward leaves behind his wife in Florida of 54 year, Margaret Borowski (Pattenden formally) and children, Eileen & Ray Powers, Edward & Norma Borowski, David & Catherine Borowski and William Borowski. He has eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at the Notre Dame Chapel on Saturday September 29, 2007.
