Canton - Thomas Raymond Hicks, 95, of Canton, died at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday October 15, 2013 at Heartland Healthcare Center in Canton.

He was born on July 5, 1918 in Fulton County to Thomas Doler and Jennie (Daily) Hicks.

He first married Betty Barlow, she preceded him in death in 1983, he then married Patricia Wages in Lewistown on March 16, 1984. She survives.

Other survivors include two children Iris Lancaster and Dennis Lancaster, both of Canton, 6 grandchildren, Jason, Chad, Kalan, Kilee, Jennifer and James E., 8 great grandchildren Jacob, Molly, Taylor, Lucas, Hannah, Carter, Chase and Seth, and one sister Anna "Peggy" Hicks of Canton.

He was preceded in death by two sisters Eva Hicks Reardon and Marge Hicks Binder.

Tom was a retired plow builder, working for International Harvester Co. in Canton with 39 years service, he then owned and operated Betty & Rays Garden.

He was a World War II Army Air Force veteran, receiving a Bronze Medal.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 19 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where visitation will be held one hour prior.

Burial will be at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
