Anna Calvert Hunt, 87, Myton, passed away at home December 27.
She was born May 25, 1905 at Camp Jossman in the Philippines to Col. Charles A. and Sallie Gore Calvert Hunt.
After graduating from high school, she attended the University of New Hampshire. She also attended Katharine Gibbs finishing school in Boston. During World War II, she served in the U.S. Navy Waves and was stationed at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Following her military service, she worked as a private secretary at Walker Bank in Salt Lake. In her leisure time she loved bowling, golf and bridge.
She is survived by two sisters, Sallie Cooper Jensen, Phoenix; and Ruth Jean Cooper Ponton, Myton; a brother, Haydon Calvert (Bud) Cooper, Roosevelt; and 17 nieces and nephews.
