Samuel was my uncle. He was killed aboard the USS Oklahoma (BB-37) on 7Dec1941. One of 429 casualties. Our family received word on Aug 29, 2017 that he had been identified. He arrived back to his home town of Louisville, KY on 7Dec2017 and buried with Full Military Honors on 9Dec2017. This brought closure for our family.
