n 25 Jan 1853, Executors of the will of Daniel G. Joye sold Foot Point Plantation in Beaufort District, SC, and many enslaved ancestors on the plantation. Jonathan A. Seabrook purchased the plantation. In the sale, 83 enslaved ancestors were sold to 14 purchasers. The record of the sale lists purchasers, and those they purchased.
