ilford Texas was first settled in 1853-1854. Read the stories about some of the great citizens of our city. Sign at city limits: "Milford, a town of 700 friendly folks and 3 or 4 old grouches." Below are the death certificates I found of some of the 2,750 people buried in the Milford Cemetery. The oldest grave is dated 1855.
